FIS WORLD CUP PYEONGCHANG

FIS World Cup Snowboard is the ideal way to start up an exciting season in PoyeongChang.

Athletes from the entire world are excited to participate at the Big Air Competition in order to show their awesome skills and talents.

At the start we will find 55 male and 32 female riders coming from 23 nations with the presence of 2014 Olympic slope styles leaders.

On the women’s side: Spencer Obrien (CAN), Cheryl Mass (NED), Hailey Langland (USA), Sarka Panacochova (CZE) or Milan winner Anna Gasser (AUT).

In the men’s competition: Max Parrot, Michael Ciccarelli, Tyler Nicholson, Sebastien Toutant and Darcy Sharpe from a strong Canadian armada while Seppe Smits (BEL), Billy Morgan (GBR), Roope Tonteri (FIN) as well as Kyle Mack (USA) and his fellow US countrymen Brandon Davis, Eric Beauchemin and Chris Corning are also aiming high.

 

The qualifications will be starting tomorrow as well as finals of the top 10 men and 6 women are scheduled for Saturday.

 

Finals will be staged in a three-run, best two counts final on Saturday at 1 PM local time (5 AMCET).
